Brian O'Neill won the AHL's Les Cunningham Award, which goes to the league's most valuable player.
O'Neill has 22 goals and 78 points in 69 games with the AHL Manchester Monarchs this season. Although he was never drafted, O'Neill made the jump to the AHL in 2011-12 after a successful four-year run with Yale University. This was by far his best season in the minors, but given that he'll turn 27 in June, it's unlikely that he'll be able to establish himself as a regular in the NHL.
