Ohio State’s quarterback situation just got a whole lot more clear.
Braxton Miller told SI’s Pete Thamel that he will be switching from QB to H-Back this season, confirming a move that many speculated would happen. Not only will Miller be catching passes as a wide receiver, but as H-Back he can also take pitches, shovel passes and throw the ball on trick plays, Thamel says.
Miller first talked about the idea of switching to wide receiver with Ohio State’s strength coach in April. He talked with Urban Meyer about the possibility in May, and the two began watching film of top receivers.
