If you saw Ben Ancheff tossing batting practice for his buddies in a local park, you would probably burst out laughing. The St. Thomas University right-hander might be largest pitcher you will ever see.
But he’s a college athlete, and you probably aren’t.
Ancheff, a transfer from the University of Central Arkansas, is listed at 6-foot-2, 300 pounds on the Bobcats’ official website. That seems quite generous, as he is the same height as 325-pound Vince Wilfork and looks like he could take Vince in a chicken wing eating contest.
