Adrian Peterson skipping Vikings’ OTAs because he wants trade

Adrian Peterson is skipping OTAs for the Minnesota Vikings, and that largely because he still wants to be traded, according to a report.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press’ Chris Tomasson reported Sunday that Peterson will skip the team’s three organized team activities workouts this week. Skipping the OTAs this week will result in Peterson forfeiting a $250,000 workout bonus that he receives if he attends 90 percent of his team’s OTAs and minicamps.

Yahoo!’s Charles Robinson took things a step further by reporting that Peterson is skipping the workouts because he wants to be traded.
