ORLANDO – Alexis Prince is the latest local basketball talent to make it to the pros. She was selected in the third round (29th overall) of the 2017 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury.
Prince, who starred at Baylor the last few years, is from Orlando. She was a four-year starter at Edgewater High School where she led the Eagles to a Florida Class 6A state title her senior year.
But before all this incredible success, the 6’2 guard learned the fundamentals of the game and developed her skills while participating in the Orlando Magic Basketball Camps program.
