As support continued to roll in Thursday for the injured Markelle Fultz, the Orlando Magic began plotting the course they must take without their starting point guard.
After all, as shooting guard Evan Fournier pointed out, the season stops for no team. That’s especially true with this season and Orlando’s condensed schedule. The Magic hurt for their teammate, but they have little time to dwell.
“Obviously, we were sad and disappointed for ‘Kelle. It’s horrible news, but the season continues and we have to have the right mindset to keep winning games,” Fournier said. “So we’ve got to move forward, unfortunately.
