The Orlando Magic have embraced the idea of team balance, but key in that balance has been Evan Fournier’s shooting. The fourth-year swingman is having a career year and his shooting has been the igniter of Orlando’s attack.
Fournier’s usage rate is up to 21.1 percent, which is only a slight increase from last season. He has produced more on virtually the same ratio of possessions.
The difference is Fournier has become a big-minutes player and has shouldered a much larger load this season. He is attempting more than 15 shots per game this season after never attempting more than 10 prior to this year.
