Nick Anderson remembers what happened 20 years ago tomorrow — on April 28, 1995 — as if it occurred yesterday.
The Orlando Magic took a Shaquille O'Neal-sized step forward that night: They recorded the first playoff win in franchise history, trouncing the Boston Celtics 124-77 at Orlando Arena.
"We just ran them out of the gym," Anderson says. "We didn't even give them a chance, a sniff of anything. It was over even before you knew it."
The Magic entered the 1994-95 season burdened by enormous expectations. The team looked like a potential dynasty in the making.
