ORLANDO – Marquis Teague spent most of the last two seasons in the D-League with the Oklahoma City Blue. He’s hoping his solid week at the 2016 Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League will propel him back to the NBA.
Teague drilled a pair of clutch shots down the stretch as the Dallas Mavericks overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat the Charlotte Hornets, 97-92, on Friday. He finished with 11 points, three assists and three rebounds.
“I just wanted to stay aggressive,” Teague said. “They gave me open shots. Just trying to make plays to help us win.
