The Orlando Magic had a great team performance Monday night in Brooklyn. They were effective on both sides of the ball, and ended up with a 105-82 win.
The biggest story for the team was the improved offensive game.
It was clear coming into the game the Magic could defend. They entered the game seventh in the league in defensive rating, and were up against the league’s 28th ranked offense.
Orlando and its 21st ranked offense (99.9 points per 100 possessions) went on the road and shot extremely well. Unexpectedly well, especially considering how the team had played the last four games — 92.
