Scott Skiles: Magic envision Mario Hezonja as future two-way player

BOSTON — Scott Skiles has a reputation as a coach who doesn't allocate minutes to rookies, but that perception is inaccurate. In Chicago, for example, Skiles played Ben Gordon enough minutes as a rookie that Gordon won the 2004-05 NBA Sixth Man Award. In Milwaukee, Skiles started Luc Mbah a Moute 51 games and Brandon Jennings 82 games during their rookie seasons.

But Skiles hasn't carved out major minutes for Orlando Magic rookie Mario Hezonja, the fifth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
