The Orlando Magic will be bringing a new D-League team to Florida for the 2018 season. They have reportedly narrowed their decision down to Lakeland and Kissimmee for play.
The team reviewed bids from several cities within Florida as it narrowed its choices down. Now it appears the Magic coming close to a decision although a decision is not final.
Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders reports the Magic may be targeting putting their D-League team in Lakeland at the Lakeland Center, host of the high school state championship games. However, the process is still open and the Magic are in continued negotiations with the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee.
