OKLAHOMA CITY – While consistency has certainly been a problem this season for the Orlando Magic, matching up against some of the elite teams in the NBA has caused them little to no trepidation at all.
On Tuesday morning, as the Magic were preparing to take on the surging Oklahoma City Thunder, head coach Steve Clifford reminded his team of that fact. He didn’t need to reel off big wins over Boston (twice), Houston, Toronto, Philadelphia, Utah and the Los Angeles Lakers (twice) because those performances have buoyed the team’s beliefs all season that it can play with any foe in the NBA and ultimately reach the postseason.
