ORLANDO – It was the kind of situation that could have easily unnerved 20-year-old Orlando Magic guard Mario Hezonja. But, as his new Magic teammates and the rest of the NBA are quickly finding out, Hezonja is no wide-eyed rookie overwhelmed being out on the court with other pros.
Seconds after checking into Wednesday’s game against the Miami Heat, Hezonja was whistled for an illegal screen after he drilled 14-year veteran Amare Stoudemire in the chest with an elbow. Stoudemire did his best to rattle Hezonja, angrily barking and glaring repeatedly at the Magic’s prized rookie.
