ORLANDO – Kept out of the Orlando Magic’s previous game in Philadelphia with a sore left Achilles’ tendon, shooting guard Terrence Ross also had to battle through flu-like symptoms before getting back on the court.
On Friday night, Ross made the rebuilding Dallas Mavericks look sick and beat up with his ability to pile up the points in rapid-fire succession.
Ross returned to action following his one-game absence and showed no ill effects in scoring 22 points and drilling six 3-pointers as the Magic played just well enough to dispatch the Mavericks and legendary forward Dirk Nowitzki, 111-106.
