LONDON – At long last, Elfrid Payton didn’t have to tread lightly on his left ankle and he could use the cat-quick movements that have already made him one of the best young point guards in the NBA.
Finally, Payton didn’t have to look on as his Orlando Magic teammates were practicing and prepping for a game without him being in the middle of the action.
