Last year, Magic Gaming needed two wins on the season’s final day to make the NBA 2K League’s inaugural postseason. The team had gone on a tear in the final weeks of the season to put themselves in position to win.
They had to finish seventh though.
Knicks Gaming finished in the final playoff spot despite one of the worst records in the league. That is because they won the Ticket Tournament at the end of the season. They would use that surprise playoff berth to win the championship.
If Magic Gaming wants to avoid a repeat of last year’s playoff shortcoming, they can take care of business on virtually their home floor.
