The Orlando Magic announced Monday they've waived Keith Appling and Jordan Sibert. The moves reduce the Magic's roster to 17 players with the regular-season looming eight days away.
Once Appling and Sibert clear waivers, they'll join the Magic's NBA D-League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks.
The pair of training-camp invitees appeared in five preseason games for Orlando. Appling averaged 1.2 points per game in 8.7 minutes, while Sibert posted 0.6 points in 6.1 minutes.
Appling went undrafted in 2014 out of Michigan State and split the subsequent NBA D-League season with the Los Angeles D-Fenders and the BayHawks.
