The Orlando Magic continue to work to fill their training camp roster and possibly their G-League roster in Lakeland.
The Magic are set to sign former UConn Huskies guard Rodney Purvis to a training camp contract, according to Ian Begley of ESPN New York. The contract is set up to convert easily into a two-way deal if the team likes him or give Purvis a bonus if the Magic decide to sign him to their G-League roster.
UConn's Rodney Purvis agreed to a partially guaranteed deal with Orlando, league sources told ESPN. Purvis is likely headed to D League.
