As part of the Magic Volunteer Program (MVP) Orlando Magic employees volunteered their time recently at Second Harvest Food Bank sorting donated food items to be distributed to those in need in the Central Florida area. Second Harvest Food Bank provides food to more than 550 nonprofit agencies in Central Florida. Magic volunteers also recently volunteered at Give Kids the World, which fulfills the wishes of families with children who have life-threatening illnesses.
Since inception of the Magic Volunteer Program (MVP) in 2006, Magic staff, coaches and players have contributed more than 43,000 volunteer hours to the Central Florida community.
