The Orlando Magic added two players to help round out their training camp roster and boost the Lakeland Magic for the upcoming season, welcoming back one familiar face into the franchise.
The team announced Wednesday it had signed guards Gabe York and B.J. Johnson to training camp contracts. They are believed to both be Exhibit 10 contracts. The Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, non-guaranteed contract that offers some guaranteed money to players for training camp and options them for the franchise’s G-League team.
These contracts are part of rounding out a training camp roster, adding some extra bodies for training camp practices and even for preseason pickup games as roster players get ready for the season.
