The Orlando Magic, and some of the more hardcore fans, have kept at least a cursory eye on one prospect developing in Europe. They will have to keep an eye on international games for a bit longer to follow this prospect.
Magic international prospect Janis Timma inked a new deal with Saski Baskonia of the Spanish ACB league, likely meaning he will not be available to play for the Magic — or their Summer League team — for a few years. Mundo Deportiva reports it is a three-year deal.
Orlando acquired the draft rights to Timma as part of the Luke Ridnour trade in 2015.
