WASHINGTON — Friday night seemed to be a golden opportunity for the Orlando Magic to end their struggles against the Washington Wizards. Injuries prevented the Wizards' Bradley Beal, Nene, Gary Neal, Alan Anderson and DeJuan Blair from playing while the Magic were almost at full strength.
But the Wizards still had John Wall, Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat.
The Magic lost their 11th consecutive game to Wall's Wizards, falling 103-91 at the Verizon Center.
Wall scored 24 points and distributed 13 assists — both game-highs — and he dominated the action when he was subbed back into the game with Washington ahead 76-74 with 9:20 to go.
