ORLANDO – It was about an hour before Wednesday’s tipoff against the Los Angeles Lakers and Major Christian Magnell said the only thing that could make Seats for Soldiers Night even more memorable was if the Orlando Magic got a win.
Well, he and the more than 500 active and retired military personnel at Amway Center couldn’t ask for a more exciting and rewarding night. They were on hand to watch Nikola Vucevic bury a game winner at the buzzer and join in on the celebration afterwards.
All this, though, was secondary to the real purpose of Seats for Soldiers Night presented by Harris Corporation.
