The Orlando Magic did not have their offense in line for much of the game. The team got good looks and just could not hit them.
Eventually that led to defensive breakdowns and frustrations. The Magic gave up a 22-2 run to end the third quarter to fall behind by 16 points. Orlando picked up its pace and urgency to cut the lead to seven points, but ran out of time and shooting as they fell 97-91.
Scott Skiles was again searching for energy and a lineup that could provide some consistency to his unit.
