The Orlando Magic came in 70th in ESPN’s Ultimate Standings, its annual survey of fan satisfaction, team results and management and fan affordability. The Magic came in 18th among NBA teams.
Considering the Magic’s poor record the last three years, the Magic’s relatively middle-of-the-road ranking in the league and among the entire group of teams in the big four sports leagues (NBA, MLB, NFL and NHL — MLS anyone?).
The finish does not seem all that bad all things considered.
The Magic’s improvement over last year’s 78th place finish largely came from off the court changes.
