There was a new sight at the Amway Center for those that went to the arena to catch the bus to Camping World Stadium and the Orlando City game.
The Church Street garage across the street from Amway Center had been fenced off last week and had a new wrapping around it, featuring photos of Orlando Magic players, the Magic logo and forward-looking, inspirational quotes from team owner Rich DeVos.
These are the first physical signs of a massive construction and development project occurring across the street from the Amway Center.
An Orlando Magic spokesman confirmed to Richard Bilbao of the Orlando Business Journal the Magic have begun preparations to demolish the parking lot on Church Street across form the Amway Center as the first stage of construction for the $200 million entertainment complex to be built on the property and the blocks extending out form the parking garage.
