The Orlando Magic and United Healthcare packed 15,000 meals for Second Harvest Food Bank to distribute to hungry kids leaving school on Friday afternoons.
The Orlando Magic have been wildly uneven on the basketball floor — winning early in the season, slumping badly in the middle, and most recently winning four of their last five games.
If only they were as consistently great on the court as they are in the community, there would be more banners hanging in the Amway Center than in Boston's Garden.
This was my first thought as I witnessed Magic coach Scott Skiles, general manager Rob Hennigan and 200 or so Magic staff members at a charity event Tuesday to help supply food to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
