The Orlando Magic didn’t look like a team with just nine available players competing on the second night of a back-to-back set.
Vucevic scored 42 points and Michael Carter-Williams recorded 21 points and to power the Magic to a 123-112 win Friday over the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Arena.
Vucevic hit 17-of-22 shots and was 6-of-8 from the 3-point line and finished one point shy of matching his career-high of 43 points, set Feb. 5 against the Bulls.
Carter-Williams returned to the lineup after missing the past 19 games and made his presence felt. He organized the offense early then got going in the second half as he attacked the rim and scored 19 of his points.
