The Orlando Magic are among a handful of teams to express interest in signing free-agent swingman Shabazz Muhammad, reports Marc Spears of ESPN.com.
Muhammad, 24, is an unrestricted free agent following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ decision to rescind their qualifying offer to him. Muhammad has spent his entire four-year career in Minny, where he posted 9.7 points and three rebounds per game in 18.5 minutes on 47.6 percent shooting.
Following the departure of Jodie Meeks, Orlando is in need of depth on the wing, as there’s precious little behind Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross.
