The Orlando Magic will sign free-agent forward Jeff Green to a one-year contract, reports Jeff Zillgit of USA Today Sports. The deal will be worth $15 million. Orlando cannot officially announce the deal until the NBA's moratorium period ends July 7th.
Green, who turns 29 in August, has played for four teams in his eight-year career. He split the 2015/16 season between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 11.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on 43 percent shooting.
Green can man either forward position, but as yet has failed to shed the tweener label.
