It was a long offseason for the Orlando Magic. Not just the length of time (when was April 15 exactly?) but also for what the offseason meant.
The 2015 season left a nasty taste in everyone’s mouth. The team came into the year talking about trying to compete for the Playoffs and turn the corner. Instead, the team floundered again. After a hot start to the season, the team struggled to gain traction and fell completely apart. They fired Jacque Vaughn in February and salvaged the rest of their season in the final 30 games (10-20 is salvaged when you win only 25 games).
