ORLANDO – Matt Lloyd doesn’t like keeping count of the number of days that he spent on the road or the dozens upon dozens of college and international games he watched in person because it reminds him of how much he was away from his family this past basketball season.
However, Lloyd knows that all the tireless work put in from October to April scouring the globe and the college basketball landscape for talent helps him better prepare the Orlando Magic for the June 22 NBA Draft. And that work should somewhat lighten the load for Lloyd, who is shouldering the added responsibility of being the Magic’s interim GM as the franchise prepares for next week’s NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Chicago.
