LONDON — As darkness descended here late Tuesday afternoon, Evan Fournier sat in a conference room in the Orlando Magic's team hotel. Wearing a tan backwards baseball cap, a dark Magic sweatshirt, sweatpants and a pair of Nikes, Fournier sat on a comfy, light-green leather chair as foreign journalists paraded in to conduct brief one-on-one interviews arranged through the league.
The lineup of reporters resembled a United Nations roll call. One television correspondent hailed from Fournier's home country, France. One writer was from the United Kingdom. Another came from Italy. And another was from Germany.
