Magic work out Gonzaga shooter Corey Kispert as first pre-draft prospect

Gonzaga deadeye Corey Kispert was in Orlando on Tuesday, the first of several potential draft picks the Magic will look at in person, and he wanted people to know one thing.

“I’m not just a shooter,” said Kispert, the 44% 3-point shooter who averaged 18.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game with Gonzaga this past season. He hit 52.9% of nearly 400 field goals attempted. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Kispert, however, said there is plenty more to his game than shooting the basketball.

“I’m way more than just a shooter. That’s kind of my moniker, what people label me as, but I can do a ton more than that,” Kispert said.
