ORLANDO – CEO Alex Martins knew full well last May that the Orlando Magic did as well as they possibly could have when they hired the most experienced and more proven head coach available in Frank Vogel.
Over and over, all throughout the summer and this preseason, Martins has gotten confirmation of that belief from a Magic fan base that is delighted that Vogel is running the team.
``I will tell you, in all the time that I’ve been here, I’ve never seen a coach who has gotten such a positive response from our fan base,’’ said Martins, who has worked for the franchise for more than 20 years.
