ATLANTA — The Orlando Magic needed an extra period instead of a few seconds to upset the Atlanta Hawks again.
After beating the Hawks on Nik Vucevic's buzzer-beater on Sunday, the Magic clawed back from an 18-point third-quarter deficit to defeat Atlanta 117-110 in overtime on Monday night at Philips Arena.
In the overtime period, the Magic jumped to a 107-101 lead on baskets by rookie Mario Hezonja, two free throws by Aaron Gordon and a jump-shot by Vucevic.
After Jeff Teague – fouled on a 3-point atempt – made just one of three free throws, Vucevic made two at the line for a 108-102 advantage.
