The Orlando Magic agreed to trade All-Star center Nikola Vucevic and veteran forward Al-Farouq Aminu to the Chicago Bulls for a package that will include Wendell Carter and Otto Porter, league sources confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel.
Vucevic is in his ninth season with Orlando and was selected to his second All-Star game in February. He currently leads the team in scoring and rebounding, and ranks as one of the franchise’s statistical leaders in a number of categories.
The deal comes just before the NBA trade deadline of 3 p.m. ET Thursday and hours after Vucevic led the magic to a 112-111 victory over the Phoenix Suns by recording his 30th double-double of the season Wednesday night at Amway Center.
