MIAMI — Guard Victor Oladipo is the Orlando Magic's best defender. Forward Aaron Gordon probably is the team's third-best defender.
Perhaps the Magic defense can withstand the absence of one of them.
But on Sunday, it couldn't handle the absences of both of them.
The Miami Heat carved up the Magic, shooting 56 percent from the field and generating 30 free-throw attempts as the Heat rolled to an easy 118-96 victory at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Gordon missed his second game in a row because of a concussion, while Oladipo sat out his first game since he suffered a concussion in a win over the Heat on Friday.
