The Orlando Magic made more personnel moves Sunday to address their depth at forward, signing free agent small forward Ignas Brazdeikis to a 10-day contract and releasing forward/center Donta Hall from his second 10-day contract, the team announced.
The Magic already were thin at forward before Chuma Okeke sustained an ankle injury and James Ennis re-aggravated a calf muscle injury. Orlando played Saturday’s game against Memphis with just nine players and none of them were pure forwards. The recently-signed Moritz Wagner started for Ennis at power forward, with Hall earning the back-up minutes, and shooting guard Dwayne Bacon started at small forward in place of Ennis.
