A funny thing happened during the social justice convention Saturday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks not only excluded the Magic from the decision to start a historic boycott of the NBA playoffs Wednesday, they eliminated the Magic from the NBA playoffs altogether with Saturday’s 118-104 victory over Orlando in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference first-round series.
From a basketball standpoint, these playoffs will be forgettable for the injury-ravaged Magic, but from an historic perspective, this will be the most memorable playoffs these players and coaches will ever participate in.
