MIAMI – Magic center Stephen Zimmerman enjoyed getting experience playing for the Magic's D-League team in Erie, Pa., but the weather? Brrrrrrr.
"It was freezing," Zimmerman said. "We had two games away in Grand Rapids (Michigan) and it was like 10 degrees. I miss Florida."
Zimmerman, Orlando's second-round pick who appeared in just four Magic games as of Tuesday, recently returned from a second stint this season with the Erie BayHawks. He was assigned to the BayHawks on Dec. 15 and returned Monday.
He put up some eye-popping numbers, averaging 17.
