Orlando Magic rookie Chuma Okeke is withholding judgment on whether his best all-around performance of the season will serve as a turning point during his young career.
Okeke posted a career-best 11 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists and three blocked shots Friday to help the Magic beat the Golden State Warriors 124-120.
“It was just about them being happy for me, excited for me hitting big shots and making big plays in a big-time moment,” Okeke said. “And it meant a lot knowing that they’re happy for me.”
Okeke senses his improvement and he’s certainly gaining confidence with each game he plays.
