Orlando Magic radio announcers Dennis Neumann, Richie Adubato and Joey Colon will not be back with the team for the 2020-21 season as the organization has decided not to renew their contracts.
Neumann, Adubato and Colon, who had a combined 66 seasons of broadcasting Magic games, were notified of the team’s decision last week. Magic CEO Alex Martins said in a statement that the move is related to the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Magic will continue to have a presence on radio moving forward. The team will use its television broadcasts on radio and continue to produce its podcasts.
