The Orlando Magic will celebrate Black History Month with four virtual town hall meetings as well as multiple activities during home games in February.
The virtual town halls will feature players, team staff and community leaders, and will focus on a variety of social justice and diversity issues. The first town hall is scheduled for Wednesday, with the remaining three set for Feb. 10, Feb. 17 and Feb. 24. Each town hall will run from 11 a.m. to noon.
Magic Steve Clifford, who is scheduled to be a part of the first town hall, said the meetings are a chance to build on the social justice work that’s already been done by the Magic.
