The Orlando Magic honored NBA sideline reporter Craig Sager prior to their game Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets at Amway Center.
Magic players wore SagerStrong T-shirts during pre-game warm-ups. The shirts are modeled on the garish suits Sager wore during games, and proceeds from purchases of the shirts support cancer research and education.
Sager died Thursday from leukemia, and the team held a moment of silence in Sager's honor before the national anthem.
Magic coach Frank Vogel got to know the NBA sideline reporter when Sager covered Vogel's Indiana Pacers teams and when Vogel served as the Eastern Conference's coach during the 2014 All-Star Game.
