ORLANDO – In 2010, the Orlando Magic helped refurbish the Engelwood Neighborhood Center by adding a Magic-themed game room and computer lab.
On Wednesday, July 1, five years later, the Magic returned to the facility and replaced the old computers with new ones. Now, the hundreds of children that attend after-school programs at the center will utilize this new technology to broaden their knowledge and skills. Also included in the revamp were some updated decorations in the lab.
The Magic partnered with Quill.com and were joined by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 Commissioner Tony Ortiz at the event.
