NEW YORK — How fitting that the final game of the Orlando Magic's disappointing 2014-15 season was a microcosm of the season as a whole.
In a season inundated with lost opportunities, the Magic lost an opportunity to go into the offseason on a positive note.
The Magic held a 12-point lead in the third quarter, gave up that lead and struggled down the stretch as they fell to the Brooklyn Nets 101-88 Wednesday night at the Barclays Center.
In the final quarter, the Magic made five of 15 shot attempts and turned the ball over five times.
