Holding an open roster spot, the Orlando Magic have flexibility in the trade market to not only improve their own team, but also help others out. That was the case on Tuesday, as the Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a small deal that would send second-year guard Joe Harris, a future protected (31-55) second round pick from the Sacramento Kings, and cash to the Magic for a future protected second round pick (31-55) from the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Magic will request waivers on Harris, who recently underwent surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot.
