Two days after an inspired road win over the New York Knicks, the Magic too often struggled Wednesday night in a 111-92 loss to the Atlanta Hawks at Amway Center.
The defense faltered, allowing the Hawks to make 54 percent of their shots.
And the Magic's offense looked discombobulated at times, turning the ball over 17 times.
The game turned late in the third quarter, after the Magic went on an 8-0 run to cut their deficit to 69-65.
